Proud winners of 3 categoriesWe won again!
The subtle announcement made by En. Mohammad, the MC during last Sunday's event has taken us by suprise.
First of all we didn't see it coming since everything was done at a blurry speedy state. Secondly we're not putting much hope since we have won for the categories "Best Website" and "Best Counter" for two consecutive years, i.e. for the 2007 and 2008 Quality Awards. Everybody else must surely have enhanced and upgraded far better than us for the third year round. Nevertheless we came through this time, bringing home a new award for Top Office.
The categories for last year's Quality Award have been revised -- more refined categories, more selective judges and definitely tougher evaluations plus higher standards. The Library participated in 4 categories, namely Best Website, Best Customer Service (replacing Best Counter), Top Office and Top Teaching Lab. The last category was a trial, and it seems we need to tackle the shortcomings in that area.
The awards received are not the final goal in our business. We have to keep moving forward to face the challenge of upholding the APEX status. We have to put our best foot forward in every endeavor that we make. Along this arduous journey, awards such as these are truly a moral booster.
